Live On-AIR at Parker is a new series showcasing the outstanding jazz talents who live—and make music—in Austin. Live On-AIR is sponsored by Texas Jazz Society.

LIVE ON-AIR ARTIST ALTIN SENCALAR
Accomplished trombonist Altin Sencalar is an in-demand player, composer, and educator who became a fixture in the Austin music scene after being named a “2017 top 10 Austin Music Awards horn player.” For his Live On-AIR performance, he presents original music, Latin-inspired arrangements, and select standards with the Altin Sencalar Quintet, featuring Sencalar on trombone and euphonium, Mike Sailors on trumpet, David Mesquitic on piano, Ryan Hagler on bass, and Adam Jackson on drums.

MAKE YOUR RESERVATION
Live On-AIR at Parker programming is presented every Tuesday night at Parker Jazz Club. Emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility, the club—typically limited to guests 21 and up—will be open to audiences of all ages. Reservations are available for $10 per seat.

The show will also be available via livestream at parkerjazzclub.com/livestream, generously sponsored by local nonprofit Texas Jazz Society. Online donations are welcome—all proceeds benefit Texas Jazz Society’s mission to keep jazz alive and thriving in Texas.

COVID PRECAUTIONS
Parker continues to operate at limited capacity. Face masks are recommended. While dancing is not discouraged, please note that Parker does not have a dedicated dance floor.

Our show starts at 8pm and doors open at 7pm. Your ticket guarantees your seat, but please note that table preference is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Though there’s not a bad seat in the house, if you have a specific table at which you want to be seated, arrive early.
